This is a good and basic introduction to Options. A clear understanding is illustrated about the process of options, buy and sells of calls and put, a range of strategies varies from high risk to defensive, combination of options techniques such as spreads, straddle, strangle, etc.

This book pretty much covers all the fundamental about Options trading one can hope for. But it means little to me. Because options have expired deadline, regardless of how long, I categorize it as short term or best used with speculative strategies. I will not employ any options trading in my mean investment strategies at this time. Of course, to us intelligent investors, just because you do not use it, does not mean you should not understand it. I might revisit options trading when I set aside a speculative fund or after more important readings are complete.
